I have tried multiple ASP.NET Core orijects, simple - wihout any authorization of DbContext, and more complex, with both the former. Immediately after creating the project, one of the error messages to be dsiplayed first after hitting F5 for debug (every time I hit F5 for debug some or other error occurs, and this one occurs between 1st and 3rd), is the following:
Unable to attach to application 'dotnet.exe' (PID: 2556) using 'ABBEYOFTHELEMA'. Visual Studio Remote Debugger (MSVSMON.EXE) failed to start. If this problem persists, please repair your Visual Studio installation via 'Add or Remove Programs' in Control Panel.
Even I manually start the remote debugger first, I still get the same message. I can only get around this by adding a line in "Program.Main" to output the "dotnet" process ID, and start the project by
1) first manually starting the remote degger 2) starting the project using "dotnet run" 3) attaching to the process ID outoput in the "dotnet" process's console.
