Reported by Gaëtan POIRAUDEAU Mar 07, 2017 at 04:56 PM windows 10.0visual studio 2017Database
when an sql file is opened in the editor, there is no more syntax highlighting
I have the same problem and think that working is not satisfactory on database projects. please correct this as soon as possible. thanks
I've got the same problem (using VS in Italian, if it matters)
Maybe someone will help my workaround:
1. Add English language to Visual Studio 2017 (vs_installer).
2. Run "devenv /LCID 1033" for SQL projects and "devenv /LCID <your locale>" for other projects.
3. Enjoy! )))
Please try running devenv.exe /setup from a Developer Command prompt and see if this mitigates the issue.
