I was adding a new project to the solution. Each time I tried to check-in those changes, the progress bar went all the way to completion but didn't check anything in. An error was returned that said something to the effect of "Please contact your system administrator. HTTP Code 302: Found." This same error then happened to anything I tried to check in via VS 2017. It worked when I closed and relaunched VS and tried to check in again.

I had two Microsoft accounts connected to my VS2017 and what fixed it for me was removing the Microsoft account that is not used in the TFS I am connected to. For some reason it was throwing that error on get latest with multiple accounts connected.

We deployed a fix to VSTS earlier today that should help to address this issue. You might find it necessary to disconnect from your VSTS account and reconnect. We're continuing to improve the authentication issues against VSTS in the coming updates. Apologies for the poor experience, and thanks for your help in tracking this down.

Ok found what was causing my issue! I had 2 instances of VS17 open - the 1st solution opened from VSTS account1 and the 2nd solution opened from VSTS account2 - seems there was a conflict as to which VSTS repo to communicate with - restarting VS17 or reconnecting to VSTS through Team Explorer resolves the issue.
